The owner of the trademark, Manik Ilya Grigorievich (an Australian businessman), met in the late 80s with Titov German Stepanovich (pilot-cosmonaut No. 2), when Manik I.G. He came to Moscow after sponsoring an exhibition of the Russian Cosmonautics Museum in Australia.

The result of the meeting was the opening in 1993 of CJSC Cosmos-Earth. The main goal in creating the company was the opportunity to use the results of research and discoveries of the space industry of the USSR Ministry of Defense and the development of space technologies for their application in terrestrial conditions.

In the same year, 1993, the "Ground Station-Laboratory" BURAN "was opened. During the construction of the station-laboratory, many existing space technologies were used, and 26 space technologies created by the employees of Cosmos-Earth CJSC under the leadership of German Stepanovich Titov (Chairman of the Cosmonautics Federation of the USSR-Russia, pilot-cosmonaut No. 2, were developed and patented, Academician of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics named after K. One of the first technologies developed for the program of sending a person on a long space trip (per 50 years of stay in space) was the technology of growing wheat germ to provide space travelers with food, drink and medicine in one product. The results of numerous experiments were sensational. In the course of the experiments, it was found that the juice of wheat germ is the most powerful of all known immunoprotective and immunostimulating products, and is capable of maintaining a high level of cosmonaut immunity in an aggressive environment.

In a specially designed Fitotsikl installation at the Buran ground-based space station, a product was grown that was known to mankind from ancient times, but with absolutely new, improved qualities, which encouraged developers to introduce the product "wheat germ juice" to the markets of many countries around the world.
